Jehmiel McNeil (STMA Reading) won his 75KG (N Pro AM) Muay Thai bout against Jack Moorhead (Woking Thai-boxing) in front of a lively home crowd for Jack. It was bout 16 of 18 in front of sold-out venue right towards the Muay Thai Royalty (MTR) Adult Show which took place at Surrey University, Guildford on Saturday 15th June. Jehmeil trained extremely hard for this event and was determined to put on a show with a great performance, and he didn’t disappoint.
This was a thoroughly entertaining fight with both fighters giving it their all in the ring. Jehmeil dominated throughout the fight with some great front teeps (kicks) to the body together with a barrage of knees in the clinch as well as some massive over had rights/power round kicks to the head. Jack didn’t stop coming forward and deserves credit for his great chin and warrior spirit. However Jehmiel nearly stopped him in the 4th round when he had a standing 8 count with 10 seconds left on the clock. Jehmeil won the fight by majority decision with all three judges giving him the win. The fight was all live streamed by Hitman Fight TV. This was a cracking show with some great match ups both on the junior show and adult evening show with elbows permitted with use of elbow pads. We look forward to the next show.
