South Moreton Boxing Show - Saturday 15th February

On Saturday 15^th February Michael Simon won back his Light Heavyweight Title belt (he previously vacated) when he took on Josh O’Brien on the ‘St Valentines Day Massacre’ South Moreton Boxing Show (in South Oxfordshire). He looked sharp as a razor keeping has opponent at bay in the early rounds with fast jabs to the body, head and evading his punches. He then went to work on the body and caught him with some nice over hand rights towards the end defeating his opponent in the 4^th round. Michael trained extremely hard for this fight, and it really showed in the ring as all the hard work in the ten weeks fight camp paid off.

George Pickett also won convincingly with some big powerful shots thrown and great display of skill.

Dan Cooksley unfortunately lost as he was stopped in the 3rd to round of a 5 round title bout but gave a very good account of himself in an entertaining fight.
